The stats, on their carefully thought out test system: on page 82 and BTW that cooler is right on par W/H50. I can't show you the comparison yet bc they have not posted it on the website yet, but you can see for yourself if you buy the current issue (June 2010, quickly bc next issue due out soon). Maximum PC magazine: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ performs better than the highly-touted and highly-recommended Corsair H50 water cooling sys!!!!! I had to manually adjust some of my memory settings, but most everything else I left alone. Most of my other BIOS settings are at default or left on auto. When I have the A/C on it drops my hottest core idle temp to around 35c and keeps it around 65c under load. I have a small window unit A/C close to my system that I use when it gets really warmer during the day, I ran a small duct from it and have it positioned close to (not pressed against) the intake fan on my H50 and it really does a great job. With my ambient temp around 20-23c my hottest core idles around 40-43c and stays around 70c under load. My vcore is at 1.275 now, but my temps didn't change at all. I notice you're running it on 1.225v, pretty nice - everything else AUTO or default as well? (More than likely not, just interested so I can try to tweak my setup).Īctually I corrected my sig because at one point I bumped up my vcore a notch. What kinda temps are you getting? Just curious. I've been really happy with the temps I get with mine at 3.8ghz.
